Leader/Assistant of team building and icebreaker activities at Teesside University-Captured

To lead/assist delivery of team building and icebreaker activity to new and existing students.

Dates 15 Sep 2017 - 31 May 2018 (20 hours)
Location Teesside University campus or local venues depending on location chosen. All within 1 hour and transport provided.
Description

Do you want to make a difference to the success of new and existing students?
Lead/assist groups having fun and running around whilst helping them to get to know each other a little better, by using team building and icebreaker games?
Can you help the quiet ones to be heard?
Teach the overpowering ones to listen to others, and bring out everyone’s individual strengths?
This role is about using these games to break down initial social and individual barriers, and start building lasting appreciation of individual differences and how they are essential to the success of everyone.
Ideal for anyone interested in a career involving facilitation, group work, health and well-being, management, training or teaching.

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

You will be trained to;
Safely deliver the games.
Identify appropriate methods of encouraging people to take part and support them.
Methods of promoting equality within each group.
Dealing with different types of people and how their individual personalities are valuable.
