Evening Event Crew - The MoonWalk Scotland at Walk the Walk

Join our 1,000 strong team of incredible volunteers at The MoonWalk Scotland on 9th June to enjoy a different kind of Saturday night.

Dates 9 Jun 2018 - 10 Jun 2018 (6 hours)
Location MoonWalk City, Holyrood Park, Queens Drive, Edinburgh EH8 8HG. Access to Volunteer Gate via Queens Drive, a short walk from Holyrood Palace Car Park. Waverley Train station is approximately a 20-minute walk away. Lothian Buses number 34 from Leith Street drops off just north of the event site.

We are looking for dedicated, amazing volunteers to support us at The MoonWalk Scotland – thousands women and men walking either a full or half marathon in their fantastically decorated bras, raising money and awareness for breast cancer…quite a sight to behold!!
The pre-challenge party is roughly a 5pm start through to midnight on Saturday 9th June based in our walker’s village, MoonWalk City. Help us create an exceptional atmosphere by taking on one of our 20 different roles to choose from, which means there is definitely something for everyone!
Are you a people person, that is the life and soul of every party?
Welcome our walkers at the Entrance Gate, answering walker queries in our Directional Team or get hands on in Tattoos & Balloons!
Are you an unsung hero that prefers something a little less lively?
Prepare fruit for the walkers in the Kitchen, keep MoonWalk City tidy with the Clean & Recycle Team or distribute essential kit to our Volunteer Crew on the Volunteer Tent Equipment Desk!

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

Successful volunteers are issued with a Volunteer Pack before the event, which contains a Volunteer Handbook and briefing notes specific to the role they have been allocated. All volunteers have a named supervisor, who will give a short briefing at the beginning and remain in regular contact throughout the night.
