Description

Can you spare 1 to 2 hours a week over a 12-16 week period? Would you like to help someone who is blind or partially sighted to get out and about? Then My Guide could be for you. Receive nationally accredited training for free and then assist your 'match' to do anything from going to the gym, pub, shops or cinema, or to just go for walk. You will be helping one of the 180,000 blind and partially sighted in the UK who struggle to go out independently and live life on their own terms.

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

To be arranged with the volunteer and their My Guide match. 1-1 hours a week over 12 to 16 weeks

We are unable to reimburse travel expenses

About you
