Description

To provide information on deafness, hearing loss and tinnitus to deaf and hard of hearing people, their families, carers, community groups and professionals, encouraging independence and reducing feelings of isolation.

Working in public sectors such as libraries and hospitals for a minimum of 2 hours, volunteers will provide information on hearing loss to the public, handing out leaflets and signposting to other services as appropriate.

This opportunity will assist you in gaining the following skills:
