Description

If you have an interest in improving a patient's experience in hospital, therapeutic care would be an excellent volunteering opportunity for you. If you want to pursue a career in health this volunteering programme will give you an excellent experience. We offer you a 1-day training course which covers Dementia Awareness, Pain Management; SALT; Learning Disabilities; Patient Safety; IPC; Challenging Behaviours and a half day safeguarding training session. Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

We offer you a 2-day training course which covers Dementia Awareness, Pain Management; SALT; PADS; Learning Disabilities; Patient Safety; IPC; Challenging Behaviours; PALS; psychiatric liaison. Training is compulsory and volunteers will not be permitted onto wards without having attended both days.
