Description

If you’ve ever considered working with children, how about volunteering for a week in the summer with ATE working on residential summer camps in the UK?
ATE Superweeks is a not-for-profit Educational Trust and charity which runs fantastic summer camps for children from a wide range of backgrounds. Living in country houses or outdoor centres for the week, children & staff have the time of their lives, making new friends, playing games, exploring, building dens in the woods, having songs and stories around the campfire and have an opportunity to 'get away from it all' whilst experiencing lots of real childhood moments.
Every year we run a training course for new volunteers to train as ‘Monitors’ to look after a small group of children on one of our Superweeks. Our week-long residential course is a mix of lectures, discussions, practical sessions, workshops, resource development and quite a lot of fun & games! It's non-stop, challenging, and extremely good fun.
