Our church volunteer program offers practical ministry experience, theological training, and discipleship, with roles varying from children’s ministry to worship. It is bespoke so the areas of ministry covered, and time given, will be individualised.

What You'll Do:

Designed to produce godly leaders with a passion for the gospel, the Bible and the Church, Restoration Church internship programme focuses on helping you to discover and cultivate your God-given passions and gifts. The programme comprises of 5 key elements, which are: studying the Bible; growing as disciples; serving the church; developing in leadership and engaging in evangelism. How these look for an intern, however, will be different in each instance. The amount of time given, and the areas of ministry covered, will ultimately be determined by your own availability, interests and strengths. On a weekly basis, this could mean assisting with the leading of a church service, spending time in prayer with the core team, or researching technology for an online service.

Why You'll Love It:
Restoration Church is a young church plant, with a vision to connect families, the marginalised, the poor, and the broken to the restorative power of the gospel. It is led by the pastors, Samuel and Sarah Ireton, who attended Rhema Bible College and have 15+ years of ministry experience. (You can find out more about them, and the church, at https://www.restorationchurch.org.uk/) The church is a family and whether you are walking closely with God, desiring to understand your God-given calling, or wishing to develop your gifts within godly leadership, all are welcome.   If internship, or volunteering, is something you are considering, we’d love to hear from you. Drop us a message at info@restorationchurch.org.uk or call us on 07879 318 971. We’d be happy to chat through any questions you may have.
What You'll Learn:
As mentioned, there are 5 key elements which will be covered within the internship, these are: studying the Bible; growing as disciples; serving the church; developing in leadership and engaging in evangelism. Each of these areas are recognised as valuable and vital within church leadership, so they are woven into a broad range of activities for interns to undertake, as and when they are able to. In addition, you will have the opportunity to specialise in a particular area of ministry, should you wish. With support and supervision, you may want to focus on Youth, Children, Mission, or Media and Communications, for example. We will be happy to explore this with you and complete a bespoke internship programme to identify and develop your ministerial gifts and skills in a supportive, practical way.
What We're Looking For:
The heartbeat of Restoration Church is to connect families, the marginalised, the poor and the broken to the true restorative power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. With this in mind, our values are: Encountering God daily Faith Grace Truth People Family Children These values are at the heart of what our church and team stand for in the world. If you feel these values align with yours, we would love to hear from you. Drop us a message at info@restorationchurch.org.uk or call us on 07879 318 971. We’d be happy to chat through any questions you may have.
