If you want to receive practical ministry experience, theological training, or discipleship, Restoration Church is the place for you. Volunteer within areas such as children’s ministry or worship, and develop your God given gifts and skills.

What You'll Do:

With a heart to produce godly leaders with a passion for the gospel, the Bible and the Church, Restoration Church welcomes volunteers who wish to discover and cultivate their God-given passions and gifts. Serving alongside knowledgeable, experienced leaders, the amount of time given, and the areas of ministry covered, will be determined by your own availability, interests and strengths. On a weekly basis, this could mean assisting with the leading of a church service, leading a craft within our After School Club, or researching technology for an online service.

If desired, you will have the opportunity to specialise in a particular area of ministry. Depending on your hobbies, you may want to focus on Youth, Children, Mission, or Media and Commnications, for example. We will be happy to explore this with you and identify and develop your ministerial gifts and skills in a supportive, practical way.

Why You'll Love It:
Restoration Church is a young church plant, with a vision to connect families, the marginalised, the poor, and the broken to the restorative power of the gospel. It is led by the pastors, Samuel and Sarah Ireton, who attended Rhema Bible College and have 15+ years of ministry experience. (You can find out more about them, and the church, at https://www.restorationchurch.org.uk/) The church is a family and whether you are walking closely with God, desiring to understand your God-given calling, or wishing to develop your gifts within godly leadership, all are welcome.
What You'll Learn:
There are 5 key elements for volunteers to cover, these are: studying the Bible; growing as disciples; serving the church; developing in leadership and engaging in evangelism. Each of these areas are recognised as valuable and vital within church leadership, so they are woven into a broad range of activities for volunteers to undertake, as and how they would like to. This will look different for each volunteer and depend on the time that you would like to give.
What We're Looking For:
The heartbeat of Restoration Church is to connect families, the marginalised, the poor and the broken to the true restorative power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. With this in mind, our values are: Encountering God daily Faith Grace Truth People Family Children These values are at the heart of what our church and team stand for in the world. If you feel these values align with yours, we would love to hear from you. Drop us a message at info@restorationchurch.org.uk or call us on 07879 318 971. We’d be happy to chat through any questions you may have.
