Families and friends, come out to play under the stars in Stewart Park this Winter!
Nightfall presents its beautiful family friendly, interactive light art trail of stunning art works, live music, performance, storytelling and magical moments.

What You'll Do: 

This is a fun, dynamic role, working with the event zone managers to support artists, performers and visitors.

 

  • Welcoming visitors and helping with tickets.
  • Assisting the event zone managers to communicate information about the event, workshops and artworks to visitors.
  • Responding to the needs of artists and performers and assisting them before and during shows.
  • Encouraging visitors to interact with the artwork or performance where relevant.
  • Being on hand during the event to move between locations as and where required.

What You'll Learn: 
Once you have signed up to be part of Tees Valley Festival Volunteering you will receive training in Customer Service, Health & Safety, Inclusivity & Accessibility and Carbon Literacy. You can get involved in some exciting creative community art and music workshops which will be running across the Tees Valley. You'll also be able to earn digital badges recognised by many universities, colleges and employers, charting your progress while you volunteer.
What We're Looking For: 
Enthusiasm and a smile. A can-do attitude. Responsiblity and reliability. An interest in the arts, music and outdoor performance. Stewart Park is a large site and the event can involve a lot of walking. If you have limited mobility please let us know and we can make sure you are placed accordingly.
