Do Good, Feel Good: Warm This Winter Sale

What You'll Do:

Thursday 4th December 2025
11:00am – 2:00pm (Sale: 11:30am – 1:30pm)
Student Life Building, Teesside University

Winter is coming, and it’s time to help our student and staff community stay warm! Over the past few weeks, Teesside University staff have generously donated their pre-loved winter items — coats, hats, scarves, gloves, boots, and more for our Warm This Winter Sale.

This event supports our Sustainable Futures Strategy by promoting reuse and sustainability, helping staff and students with the cost of living, and raising funds for a local charity.

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event a success!

Your shift: 11:00am – 2:00pm
You’ll assist with setting up before the sale, supporting during the event, and helping to pack down afterwards.

Tasks may include:

Setting up tables and displays

Greeting and chatting with students

Handling donated items

Helping with sales and tidy-up

Why You'll Love It:
Be part of a feel-good sustainability and wellbeing project during the Student Life Festival   Meet new people and work alongside the Teesside Volunteering Team   Make a positive difference to your campus community and beyond
What You'll Learn:
Experience in project management, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving   Confidence in engaging with others   The satisfaction of supporting a meaningful cause
What We're Looking For:
