Community Volunteer - Middlesbrough West (based at Acklam, Easterside and Grove Hill Community Centres and libraries)
You will gain valuable experience in meeting and talking to people in the local community. You will need to be flexible in your approach and willing to get involved in many of the ongoing actions we organise.
What You'll Do:
You will gain valuable experience in meeting and talking to people in the local community.
You will be involved in community litter picks and other events organised by the team.
Why You'll Love It:
You will love it because you will be able to work with many people from different cultures and faiths. You will learn new skills and be able to develop existing ones. This role is varied and you will be able to discuss with community workers what you would like to be involved in and work alongside staff and the community.
What You'll Learn:
You will develop new skills and will be able to learn more about Middlesbrough Council and the support services that are available for residents.
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for passionate individuals who are reliable and trustworthy. We need people to support our work who are willing to try new things and to bring new ideas.
