Do Good, Feel Good - Helping the Linx Youth Project wrap Christmas Presents.

What You'll Do:

On Tuesday 16th December, we will meet at the Student Life Building at 1pm.

We will then set off in a taxi at 1:15pm and head over to the Linx Youth Project based in Hemlington, Middlesbrough (a short 15 minute drive away).

We will spend the afternoon, supporting the Linx Youth Project wrapping their collection of donated toys from Cash4Kids. Wrapping, sorting, making up hampers and making sure these are ready for children to receive who may not receive any other toys or gifts this Christmas.

There will be access to tea and coffee to help keep us busy elves going.

The taxi back to campus will then be booked for 3:45pm, arriving back to campus at 4pm.

Why You'll Love It:
A chance to support a really worthwhile cause this Christmas.  Linx Youth Project are active members on the volun-tees platform, you can find out more about volunteering with them.  Make new friends and connections.  Spread some Christmas cheer.  Volunteer along side the volunteering team for another Do Good, Feel Good event.  Improve mental health.
What You'll Learn:
Community connection The joy of giving Working as part of a team Communication and confidence building
What We're Looking For:
People who are committed to the afternoon. The University are proving transport which comes at a cost and we only have 7 places available for this event. If you sign up, please make sure you are available to attend. If we continue to provide transport to volunteering events and then volunteers do not let us know they are unable to attend, we may no longer be able to put on external events.
