Stewards help prepare venues for concerts and workshops, manage entry and provide support for audience members, performers and technical staff.

What You'll Do:

Make sure venues are safe and ready for use. This may include setting out chairs, moving tables etc if within your capability.

Staff the doors, welcoming audience members, checking wristbands and passes, selling tickets and providing venue information.

Provide support and assistance to audience members, particularly people with access needs.

Help performers and technical staff if required.

Supervise evacuation in an emergency.

Clear the venue at the end of events, cleaning, tidying, moving furniture etc if within your capability.

Why You'll Love It:
You get to meet people and be part of a team. You'll hear the music in the events you work on, and usually see at least some of the show. You can join in the festival fun and attend other events free of charge when off duty. You'll be helping others have a great time and making the festival a success.
What You'll Learn:
You'll learn about event management. You'll discover new performers and genres of music
What We're Looking For:
People who are polite and helpful, punctual and reliable, willing to pay attention in briefings and to follow policies and procedures. Physical fitness for moving furniture is useful but not essential.
