To work with children (aged 10-17) who have come to the attention of the criminal justice system on both a statutory (from court) and voluntary (from police) basis.

What You'll Do:

You could serve as a panel member on a community panel, helping young people make amends to their victim and reach their potential or you could work in more of a mentoring role, being involved in activities with children/young people to divert from crime and anti-social behaviour.

Why You'll Love It:
You can really make a difference.
What You'll Learn:
The learning topics on the trainng are lessons for life.  You will learn about putting restorative and relational approaches into practice and you will see child first, trauma informed approaches in action.
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for anyone with a genuine desire to make a difference; who recognise the impact of crime and anti-social behaviour on individuals and communities and want to do something about it.  Note: A criminal record would not necessarily exclude you from taking part but failure to declare something that would later become evident, would.
