Volunteer with Teesside Hospice – Make a Difference at Our Mooch with your Pooch Event!
Are you passionate about giving back to your community? Want to be part of something meaningful, fun, and inspiring?
Teesside Hospice is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our upcoming Mooch with your Pooch Event on Sunday 17th May 2026, 7.30am to 1.00pm at The Mill pub in Stokesley.
Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or lending a hand for the first time, your time can make a real difference to people living with life-limiting illnesses across Teesside.
Volunteer Roles Available
We need support with a variety of roles, including:
- Welcoming and registering participants
- Handing out event items (bandanas, puppuchinos, mugs, certificates, etc)
- Supporting along the walking route with directions and encouragement
- Assisting with event set-up and pack-down
- Assisting stallholders, entertainers, and pet portrait sessions.
- Guiding guests and providing information
- Providing general event support and being a friendly face for attendees
(Don’t worry – full guidance and support will be given!)
Time Commitment
We ask for a few hours of your time between 7.30am – 1.00pm.
