Lets Go Cycling operate in partnership with the Stockton Wheelers Cycling Club to deliver inclusive cycling sessions for SEND schools and Adult Support Groups for people with disabilities. The role will involve supporting the cycling coach.

What You'll Do: 

The role will involve providing attendees a suitable helmet, assist with selecting and mounting a bicycle or adapted cycle, assisting on the cycling circuit to ensure safety of individuals and assist with cycling activity as required.

You will be assisting people that face a number of barriers an a daily basis, and help them take part in cycling and enjoy the many benefits it can bring such as strength & fitness, improved coordination, decision making and promote physical and mental wellbeing. It is extremely rewarding to see the joy the cycling sessions bring and make a real difference.
What You'll Learn: 
You will learn how to communicate with individuals that are non-verbal or have a very limited vocabulary and how to ensure individuals are provided with a suitable bike and make ergonomic adjustments as required.
What We're Looking For: 
We are looking for individuals that are patient, polite and have a strong desire in helping people with a disability. The position will be beneficial to anyone seeking a career in healthcare or teaching.
