Hopetown Station Gardening Volunteer

Thursday mornings - 10:00-12:00 from March to July, every 2 weeks.

What You'll Do:

Work as part of a small gardening volunteer team to maintain and plant the new Hopetown Station Garden at Hopetown Darlington.

work alongisde different age groups of volunteers
learn ew skills or help others learn about plants, trees and garden wildlife
chat to visitors to Hopetown
Optional help out at Family craft activities int he garden

What You'll Learn:

Gardening skills, plant varieties, wildlife species such as bees, moths, butterflies and birds working alongside different generations having the opportunity to inspire other people to get green fingers

What We're Looking For:

enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Rail fare from Middlesbrough to Darlington provided as well as refreshments
