Do Good, Feel Good, Knitted Bunting, 27.04.2026

What You'll Do:

Following on the success of the Easter Egg-stravaganza and making some amazing crafts out of wool - we want to go to the next step - KNITTING!

Come and be part of something creative, social, and meaningful! As part of the Student Life Festival: Connecting and Thriving, we are inviting volunteers to help create knitted festival bunting that will be proudly displayed at the festival—and reused at events for years to come.

You will be fully supported by the Knitting Society and the Volunteering Team, so whether you are a complete beginner or already love knitting, you are very welcome.

Join us on Monday 27th April from 1:30-3:30pm in the Student Life Building. A great chance to lock in some more volunteering hours.

Why You'll Love It:
Learn a fun and practical new skill.   Meet new people and be part of a supportive team.   Boost your confidence in a relaxed, friendly environment.   Enjoy a creative break from your usual routine.   Find out about other projects the Knitting Society support.
What You'll Learn:
Learn how to knit (no experience needed!).   Work together to create colourful festival bunting.   Contribute to a lasting project that supports future Do Good Feel Good events.
What We're Looking For:
Everyone! No prior knitting experience required, just bring your enthusiasm.
