What You'll Do:

Hi there, we are the Darlington Branch of the RSPCA raising money locally to support animal welfare work. Our Branch is run by committed volunteers who are responsible for the management and administration of the branch's affairs. We cover a large are which includes Darlington, Reeth, Muker, Barnard Castle, Stanley, Crook, Bishop Auckland, Richmond, Catterick and all the villages in between. We work closely with RSPCA Inspectors to provide direct animal welfare services in these areas. This includes veterinary care to animals which the Inspectors have rescued from harm. We are looking for volunteers who might be interested in gaining some experience in events planning and also, helping at the events themselves, to help raise money for the Branch and the animals we care for.  We hold two major events per year sometimes revolved around our national campaigns. Monthly, we need helpers on local stalls and shops to meet and greet the public and pass out information and educate the public about the Branch and its service to the area. As a volunteer you can do as little or as much as you like once you are on board as a committed volunteer.
