We are looking for volunteers (under the age of 25) to join our project called 'Youthwatch Darlington'. Our project aims to improve health & care for young people living in Darlington. As part of Healthwatch Darlington (www.healthwatchdarlington.co.uk) our youth volunteers will support our project work ensuring the needs of young people are considered when planning. This is important as we focus on the coronavirus pandemic at what this has meant for young people using health & social care services, understanding their experiences. What will you do: - Plan and design creative ways to engage young people with health & care information on and offline. (This could be mental health, physical health or wellbeing topics) - Gather advice and information using your research skills to help improve health information sharing with young people in Darlington. - Take part in Zoom meetings with other volunteers working in a team. - Represent Healthwatch Darlington sharing ideas from a young persons perspective to help inform health & care services. - Work with health & care service to make improvements for young patients. - Write reports and summaries about young peoples health & care services.
