What You'll Do: 

1. Contact potential donors / local businesses to request prize donations

2. To prepare and send letters of thanks to donors

3. Build relationships with local stores with the possibility of partnering with them, enabling us to display marketing materials in store, money tins on tills, hosting events in store etc..

4. Work alongside our Fundraising Manager to help plan events – such as Charity Ball, Family Fun Days and Charity Golf Day.

5. Volunteer at events – meeting and greeting guests, helping with activities, having the confidence to be able to give advice and signpost where necessary

What We're Looking For: 
To volunteer for My Sisters Place we ask that you: Have a commitment to tackling domestic violence and supporting women who have experienced abuse. Have a non-judgemental, sensitive and supportive approach. Are able to work within strict confidentiality procedures holding sensitive information appropriately. Are able to offer full day a week to spend on the charities activities. Able to engage and interact with a range of people and adapt to different situations. Have basic computer skills and good organisational abilities.
