What You'll Do: 

As a volunteer, you will be able to build a rapport and befriend people accessing the Community Hubs, to offer advice or information, or to simply have a coffee and a chat. Your role may include• Providing a warm, friendly and welcoming environment.• Befriending people, building a rapport and encouraging them to take part in the activities on offer at the hub.• Assisting and / or leading activities which may include cooking, budgeting, growing your own food or other recreational activities such as art and craft or hair and beauty.• Registering people’s details and undertaking an assessment of their needs.• Giving out food parcels and ensuring a fair distribution.• Offering advice and information around other help that is available and signposting to other services where appropriate.
