What You'll Do: 

Are you interested in working with children in a unique environment? Children can find the experience of visiting someone in prison very daunting. We are looking for volunteers who can help to make the experience a positive one for children. This involves providing a warm and positive welcome, assisting children in play activities and with a range of toys, games and books available. Our Play Areas give carers and prisoners, as well as the children, some valuable space during the visit. Children remain the responsibility of the carer at all times. We need volunteers Tuesday to Friday 12.30-4.30 and Saturday and Sunday 8.30-12 or 12.30-4.
