What You'll Do:

YHA is an Approved Activity Provider with DofE and we offer Gold residentials throughout the year at a number of our hostels in England and Wales. These are volunteering residentials and the tasks you might get involved with include painting/decorating, gardening/grounds work etc.Aside from making new friends and being supported by our friendly staff, here are just a few reasons you should complete your residential with us:1. Learn new skills in practical tasks such as gardening and decorating2. Our residentials are free of charge. All we ask is a contribution of £40 towards your food3. Receive up to £75 towards the cost of your travel to the hostel4. Free Under 26 membership5. Fun leisure time activities and a thank-you meal6. All of your help enables us to carry out our work with disadvantaged young people and familiesIf you are over 18 and have experience of supporting young people, you can also volunteer at a Summer Camp to complete your residential.
