What You'll Do: 

 

Meet up with a refugee or asylum seeker once a week or once every couple of weeks, for a coffee, a walk in the park, a shared pastime etc. The commitment is for an initial 3 months.

It's a chance to make a new friend and to get an insight into the life of someone newly arrived in our area who is looking to make a new life here.
What You'll Learn: 
About other cultures and interests, how to make a connection with someone from a different background, encouraging their English, possibly sharing language and other knowledge.
What We're Looking For: 
Anyone with a friendly and positive attitude who wants to offer the hand of friendship to a refugee or asylum seeker.
