We are looking for cyclists who would like to share their knowledge of quiet and safe cycle routes, green and open spaces, and other cycling resources with our refugee bike recipients.
What You'll Do:
You'll go on bike rides with our refugee bike recipients. Bike Buddies aims to build confidence and knowledge of cycling, reduce isolation, improve well-being, encourage social integration and greater independence.
Why You'll Love It:
It's a great way for you to learn about other cultures and to share your knowledge and passion for cycling. It's very flexible as you'll be able to arrange the bike rides independently with your Bike Buddy. Bike Buddies is relatively low time commitment but garners huge rewards for those taking part.
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for keen and experienced cyclists who are willing to go on bike rides and share their knowledge about cycling. This is a befriending programme in order for our Bike Recipients to explore their local area and feel less isolated. If you like the sound of it, please apply here: https://www.tfaforms.com/4799623
