As a Volunteer Recruiter you will help to connect people with opportunities for volunteering and support them to get involved. You will be helping to recruit volunteers, with a specific focus on the needs of North East England.

What you would be involved in?

 

The role is generally as follows, though are varied, adaptable to the skills of the volunteer, and can include:

  • Meeting with members of the public in community environments and talking about the work of Excel EMS
  • Using your energy, enthusiasm and understanding to bring new volunteers on board
  • Visiting groups, clubs and organisations in community settings and talk about the value of volunteering with us
  • Providing information about the variety of volunteering roles we have on offer
  • Networking in your local community to raise the profile of Excel EMS
  • Providing practical support to potential volunteers to enable them to complete their volunteer application
  • Providing practical support to the recruiting manager
  • Liaising with your peers and colleagues to identify and highlight opportunities for volunteer engagement
  • Delivering your activities with the highest regard for confidentiality
