The Heugh Battery Museum is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Volunteer Museum Tour Guide to join our team. As a Volunteer Museum Tour Guide, you will be responsible for providing our visitors with an engaging and informative tour.

What You'll Do: 

• Conducting tours of the museum, providing visitors with an overview of the exhibits and the role of the Heugh Battery during the First World War. • Interacting with visitors, answering questions and providing additional information as required. • Ensuring the safety of visitors and maintaining the security of the exhibits

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with visitors of all ages. • A passion for history, particularly the First World War. • A strong understanding of the museum's exhibits and the role played by the Heugh Battery during the war. • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • A friendly and approachable manner. • The ability to commit to a regular 3-hour shift on any of the days mentioned before
