We need your help for our Light up a Life appeal which raises tens of thousands of pounds each year!
If you didn't know, our Light up a Life appeal supports the hospice by supporters leaving a donation and dedication in memory of those they've lost.
Christmas Tree Guardian Duties:
We promise this won't be a taxing mission – instead, it's a chance to meet our band of merry supporters and make a meaningful impact on the lives we touch here at Teesside Hospice. As a Christmas Tree Guardian your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Christmas Tree Watch: Be the watchful eye over our beautiful Christmas Tree. Your presence alone will help deter any anti-social behaviour.
2. Christmas Tree Care: Ensure the Christmas Tree and area around it remains pristine and litter-free, creating a peaceful oasis for all to enjoy.
3. Christmas Tree Protectors: Our Light up a Life Christmas tree decorations and dedications are delicate items. Politely inform visitors not to touch the tree, the decorations and the dedications, ensuring their safety.
4. Christmas Tree Badge Sales: Don't forget to showcase our Christmas spirit by selling our charming Christmas Tree – Teesside Hospice branded sparkly Christmas tree pin badges during your shift!
Volunteer Shifts:
We’re looking for volunteers between the hours of 10am - 4pm, every day from the 16th of November to the 24th of December. Whether you can do a few hours, or a couple of days, we’d be so grateful for your help! We need help every day possible to ensure our Light up a Life appeal continues to shine brightly across Teesside for those who've lost their loved ones.
