Are you a leader or great at getting things done? Do you wish to learn new skills or pass on your expertise while doing something meaningful? Are you interested in Animal Welfare? The RSPCA needs Trustee like you.

What You'll Do:

Trustees manage the RSPCA Middlesbrough, South Tees & District Branch charity.  Like any company we get involved in finance, people and legal topics, making strategies and monitoring our progress.  More importantly, we focus on raising funds, managing volunteers and spending money where it is needed to support animals in our region - YOUR region.  So, whatever your background or skills there is a role you can play.  We support all types of animals and we seek all types of people - diversity is our strength.

The Board meets every month to update each other and make decisions.  Beyond that you may be helping to organise fundraising events, assessing which projects to support, tracking progress on vaccination programs, working with local vets to offer more support out of hours, or making sure our volunteers are well managed and motivated.

Why You'll Love It:
YOU can make a real difference.  - Get real leadership experience, or pass on your expertise to others - Directly see the impact of your work - Help YOUR community - Flexible hours (give as much or as little time as you wish) - Flexible work (get involved in whatever suits you)   Please note that Trustees must be at least 18 years of age.  This is a volunteer role (reasonable expenses will be reimbursed).
What You'll Learn:
There are lots of benefits to becoming an RSPCA Middlesbrough, South Tees & District Branch Trustee, these include: Use your skills to do something useful Pass on your skills and learn new ones Trustee training Real leadership experience Real opportunities to improve animal welfare in your community Access to RSPCA Learning Hub with a wide range of training materials Lead not follow.  Shape our future direction and make your mark
What We're Looking For:
We seek people from diverse backgrounds who want to work together to improve animal welfare.  We are a team, we support each other and learn from each other.  You do not need to be an experienced Trustee - we can help with that.  We want you to bring your skills and motivation, your problem solving skills and ability to get along with people and get things done.  If you live on Teesside we would love to hear from you.  Together we can make a real difference.
