Crossing the Tees Book Festival returns for its eleventh year in June 2024, thanks to a collaboration between the library services across the Tees Valley. The festival includes author events, writing workshops, and our annual short story competition.
- Duties will vary depending on the event but could include:
- Assisting in the set up and take down of the event space (this could involve moving tables, chairs etc).
- Welcoming and guiding attendees
- Serving refreshments including alcohol (over 18s only).
- Collecting event evaluation data.
- Welcoming authors, artists and performers.
Volunteers can specify which events and venues they would like to cover.
