A Community Gospel Choir event in Stewart Park Middlesbrough

What You'll Do:

This summer, Churches in Teesside are putting on a huge Festival to celebrate Teesside! Happening on 8th & 9th June at Stewarts Park, this festival will be fun for the whole community with activities, live music, fairground rides, food and much more. In the build up to the festival we will be having an event especially for students with more information to follow. As part of the Festival Teesside Celebrations we are putting together a Community Gospel choir made up of students from Teesside University.
The idea of the choir is to bring together a group of students from different cultures in order to celebrate the beautiful diversity of students within Teesside.
The choir will be put together and trained by Paula Odell a professional voice coach based locally. The choir will meet weekly to rehearse and will be given the opportunity to perform at our big student event in Festival Week as well as at the main festival (5th & 9th June).
No singing experience is necessary, just some enthusiasm and a willingness to commit to being part of the choir right up until June.

Why You'll Love It:
This is a fantastic celebration event taking place in the summer, with the chance to meet fellow students from different cultures to get together and celebrate Teesside University and the Teesside area.
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for students with enthusiasm and a willingness to commit to being part of the choir and take part in the event at Stewart Park.  you must be available on the 8th and 9th June.
