What You'll Do: 

STAMP Revisited is a small but ambitious charity, which provides advocacy and emotional support to those experiencing mental health difficulties. We support them to access vital services they need that they would not be able to access independently due to ill mental health. We have already supported thousands of the most disadvantaged people to have their voice heard and their choices respected by those that are making decisions about their future.

 

We are seeking individuals who are ambitious, forward-thinking and have effective communication skills to join our Board of Trustees. As a Trustee of STAMP Revisited, you will play a crucial role in setting the strategic direction of the charity and ensuring good governance.  You will contribute to ensuring that the charity fulfils its mission, operates effectively, and remains accountable to those experiencing mental health issues.

What You'll Learn: 
To support you in your role as a Trustee we will provide induction training covering topics such as safeguarding, data protection and equality, diversity and inclusion, and offer onging learning and development opportunities.

We particularly want to recruit more young people, those with lived experience and candidates from ethnic communities to increase the diversity across our Board.  We welcome applications from everyone, but we are particularly keen to hear from people with skills and experience in the following:   Fundraising, Income Generation & Financial Management Business Development & Strategy Marketing, Media & Public Relations Equal Opportunities, Disability & Discrimination Law & Governance Human Resources   The ideal candidates will bring innovative ideas, enthusiasm, and excellent judgment to help lead the organisation.  An understanding of, and empathy with, the types of issues faced by our clients is also important.   This is an unpaid role, but all reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
