Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in your community? Do you have expertise in finance and a desire to contribute to a cause that positively impacts lives? If the answer is yes, then this could be the perfect role for you!

What You'll Do:

STAMP Revisited is a small but ambitious charity, which provides advocacy and emotional support to those experiencing mental health difficulties. We support them to access vital services they need that they would not be able to access independently due to ill mental health. We have already supported thousands of the most disadvantaged people to have their voice heard and their choices respected by those that are making decisions about their future.

We are currently recruiting a new Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees. As a Trustee of STAMP Revisited, you will play a crucial role in setting the strategic direction of the charity and ensuring good governance.  You will contribute to ensuring that the charity fulfils its mission, operates effectively, and remains accountable to those experiencing mental health issues.

In addition to the general duties as Trustee, as Treasurer you will play a pivotal role in securing the financial integrity and sustainability of our charity. You will ensure that effective and appropriate financial measures are put in place and report to the Board at regular intervals about the financial health of the organisation.

Why You'll Love It:
You’ll work for a well-established charity that makes a real difference to people’s lives. Your expertise will directly contribute to advancing our mission and helping those in need.   You will have the opportunity to use your skills and knowledge to benefit the local community, whilst gaining valuable experience and expanding your skill set in non-profit governance and finance.   You will have the opportunity to connect with fellow trustees, staff members, volunteers and community partners who share your passion for making a difference and experience the satisfaction of knowing that your contributions are making a positive difference in the lives of others.
What You'll Learn:
To support you in your role as a Trustee we will provide induction training covering topics such as safeguarding, data protection and equality, diversity and inclusion, and offer onging learning and development opportunities.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management or accounting, ideally with, or working towards, a professional accountancy qualification. An understanding of, and empathy with, the types of issues faced by our clients is also important.   This is an unpaid role, but all reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
