Thirteen is a Tees Valley based housing provider, who is committed to empowering and supporting local communities. Our opportunities include a variety of projects, including renovations, green space makeovers, support with local charities, etc.

What You'll Do: 

There can be something different everyday. 

 

Our opportunities include a variety of projects,  including renovations, green space makeovers, support with local charities, customer engagement events, school support etc.

 

Green Space Makeovers could include, tree planting, garden maintenace, planting, potting, harvesting and clearing of rubbish and debris etc.

Renovations could include painting, basic DIY, clearing of rubbish, cleaning, etc.

Local Charity support could include warehousing activities, assisting at Eco Shops

Customer Engagement could include carrying out surveys, assisting at open days, fun days, etc

School support, could be assisting with reading, deliver short sessions, 

 

You will be working with a team of volunteers, full information will be given prior to the event via email and a short induction will be carried out on the day including an introduction to the community project and the importance of community resilience in the community.

 

You can select specific opportunities from our Booking Calendar which is available from the link below and once you have selected an event to attend you will be sent confirmation, as well as a reminder 7 days and 24 hours before, in addition to this you will also be sent an evaluation form to appriaise the event you attended.
