Volunteer Youth Support

Interested in volunteering with children and young people? The Junction, a respected charity known for empowering young people and transforming lives, seeks volunteers to support our programmes.

What You'll Do:

Role Purpose:   

To support service delivery through structured group work sessions to enable access to services and other opportunities. 
To support positive outcomes for children and young people.

Volunteering activities:   

Supporting the delivery of Group Work Activities

Developing activities that further children and young people’s personal and social development
Contributing to session planning and evaluations and communicating the needs of young people.
Volunteering as part of a motivated team of staff to provide group activities to service users.

Volunteering Hours:

Supporting one project per week for a minimum of 6 months
Project sessions are typically two hours long scheduled early evenings, weekend and school holiday provision available.
Volunteers can leave at any time however; volunteers and The Junction Foundation will benefit most from an experience that lasts for 6 months or longer.
