Interested in volunteering with children and young people? The Junction, a respected charity known for empowering young people and transforming lives, seeks volunteers to support our programmes.

What You'll Do: 

Role Purpose:    

  • To support service delivery through structured group work sessions to enable access to services and other opportunities.  
  • To support positive outcomes for children and young people. 

Volunteering activities:    

  • Supporting the delivery of Group Work Activities 
  • Developing activities that further children and young people’s personal and social development 
  • Contributing to session planning and evaluations and communicating the needs of young people. 
  • Volunteering as part of a motivated team of staff to provide group activities to service users.  

Volunteering Hours:

  • Supporting one project per week for a minimum of 6 months 
  • Project sessions are typically two hours long scheduled early evenings, weekend and school holiday provision available. 
  • Volunteers can leave at any time however; volunteers and The Junction Foundation will benefit most from an experience that lasts for 6 months or longer.
