Stalking is a horrific crime affecting 1 in 5 women and 1 in 10 men. We want your help raising awareness of stalking amongst school students and to try and prevent it from happening.
We have developed an assembly about stalking and healthy relationships for secondary schools and we are looking for volunteers to deliver these in association with the Durham Constabulary.
If you consider yourself to be an outgoing and engaging person, this is a great opportunity to be a part of a team committed to children and young people’s safeguarding.
We would ask you to attend an initial chat to check that you are suitable for the role and a short training session in advance of delivering assemblies to make sure that you are comfortable with the material. You will also need to participate in an enhanced DBS check, but this will be managed by the Trust.
