1 To support individual learners identified as having additional learning support needs, for example physical disability, learning disability, mental health, and dyspraxia in a classroom situation under the supervision of qualified tutor.

2 Assist designated learner with classroom activity, which may include help with literacy/numeracy or practical skills such as cookery, art or crafts.

3 Prepare the classroom and support the tutors as required

4 Ensure any safeguarding concerns are escalated where necessary

5 Maintain written records of activities covered.

6 Report any issues to tutors as soon as possible

Why You'll Love It:
Great opportunity to work with people in a education setting to gain experiance for classroom assistant / teaching roles or if you are interested in becoming a support worker.    Very flexible around your commitments and can be based in Stockton centre or Billingham.

We can gear this to your requirements to an extent but could include: - Teaching hours - Experience in supporting learners with different backgrounds - Experience with ESOL students (where English is not their first language) - working in a learner support function
