This would be an opportunity for people to volunteer with the service to support our learners in the classrooms and sessions with a variety of things.
1 To support individual learners identified as having additional learning support needs, for example physical disability, learning disability, mental health, and dyspraxia in a classroom situation under the supervision of qualified tutor.
2 Assist designated learner with classroom activity, which may include help with literacy/numeracy or practical skills such as cookery, art or crafts.
3 Prepare the classroom and support the tutors as required
4 Ensure any safeguarding concerns are escalated where necessary
5 Maintain written records of activities covered.
6 Report any issues to tutors as soon as possible

As one of our trained Speak out Stay safe volunteers, you’ll help us protect a generation of children from abuse and neglect by visiting schools twice a month to give our age-appropriate Speak out Stay safe workshops. SUITABLE FOR WE MODULE
