Role Summary: The Role is to support the community fundraising team with creating of a data base, the distribution, and collection of collection tins.
Please note for this role you must have access to your own transport and provide the appropriate driver documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential locations for collection tins, including shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, community centres, and other suitable businesses
- Use resources, such as local directories, online searches, and personal networking, to identify new collection tin locations.
- Assist with the creation and update data base of collection tins
- Plan a routine of collection routes to cover all areas.
- Keep business information up to date and issue Service Level Agreements to holders of collection tins.
- Follow policies and procedures relevant to role
- Complete documentation relating to the role

Training requirements:
As a Collection Tin Coordinator Volunteer you will complete the following training:
- Teesside Hospice mandatory training
- Volunteer induction training
- Any other training identified as appropriate to the role
Support and supervision:
Your first line of support and for any enquiries will be the Community Fund raiser to support you in your role.
Communications:
The Community Fund raiser will regularly provide you with any information updates, training opportunities and upcoming events appropriate to your role.
