Volunteer Marketing Assistant

Department: Marketing

Location:  Teesside Hospice Trading Office, 410 Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough, TS5 6HF

Time Requirement:  Flexible to suit you

We’re looking to help grow our Marketing team with people that bring energy, creativity and enthusiasm to help support our team and create as many opportunities as possible. This opportunity will help us to ensure our services are visible, as well as show what Team Teesside are doing within the community to make a real difference, which you could also be part of.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Helping to develop and implement the marketing strategy online and offline
  • Looking at ways to increase traffic to the website and improve Team Teesside’s digital brand by using the brand guidelines and personality.
  • Content Writing
  • Graphic Design
  • Producing marketing materials.
  • Speaking with people who have accessed our services as well as family members to tell the story of why the hospice is needed.

Training requirements:

As a Volunteer Marketing Assistant you will complete the following training:

  • Teesside Hospice mandatory training
  • Volunteer induction training
  • Any other training identified as appropriate to the role
     

Support and supervision:

Your first line of support and for any enquiries will be your Line Manager to support you in your role.

 

Communications:

Your line manager will regularly provide you with any information updates, training opportunities and upcoming events appropriate to your role.

You will be provided with a Teesside Hospice volunteer badge
