Create Easter Chicks and Easter Bunting for people and their families who are living with Autism and Dementia

What You'll Do:

What better way to spend an afternoon than making Easter Gift and Decorations for people and their families who are living with  Autism and Dementia and who would really appreciate receiving a handmade gift. You don't have to be creative to get involved. We'll have all the materials you need to make some cards.  It's all about you giving up your time to make a someone smile.  You'll meet lots of other students and enjoy a creative, fun and fulfilling afternoon. This activity will take place on Thursday 13 March on campus in the Exhibition Space, Ground Floor SLB between 11.00 – 2.00 pm. This is a drop-in session - you do not have to attend for the full 3 hours, however, you are very welcome to.

Why You'll Love It:
What's not to love?  A short term opportunity to bring a smile to the faces of people in the local community and their families who are living with Autism and Dementia.  You'll meet lots of other students and enjoy a fun afternoon. You do not have to be creative to participate in this workshop - just come along and enjoy some time out and be as creative as you like. Resources will be provided.
What You'll Learn:
That you are more creative than you thought you were and that creativity is a great way to relax, escape and take any stresses away from daily life!
What We're Looking For:
Anyone who is looking for a bit of escapism and creativity and can give up an hour or two of their time to do something nice for people who are in a less fortunate position than themselves.
