WHY OUR WORK MATTERS:

We're building a community where everyone leads. At BORO Doughnut CIC, there's no division between "staff" and "volunteers"—we're all volunteers working together to create positive change in our community and environment.

Your skills, our collective power

Are you a writer, graphic designer, artist, researcher, baker, gardener, or social media creator? Whatever your passion or expertise, there's a place for it here. Love cooking? Help run community kitchens or food projects. Skilled with words? Shape our communications and campaigns. Green-fingered? Lead urban gardening initiatives. Creative with visuals? Design materials that inspire action. Whether you want to launch your own initiative or contribute to existing projects, you'll find a platform that supports your unique talents and amplifies your impact.

Grow while you contribute

This is your opportunity to develop leadership abilities in a real-world setting, learn from diverse collaborators, and share your expertise where it matters most. Research skills meet gardening knowledge, artistic vision connects with social media savvy—the cross-pollination of talents makes everything we do richer and more effective.

Taking steps towards THRIVING Together

We empower you to take action in areas you're passionate about. Climate justice, community wellbeing, social equity, local sustainability—whatever drives you, we provide the collaborative framework to turn your vision into reality. Your existing skills become more valuable here, and new ones develop naturally through meaningful work.

Join us because you believe in community-powered solutions, want genuine ownership over your contributions, and are ready to be part of a movement that proves collective action works.
