Tees Valley Museums (Stockton on Tees Borough Council)
Our mission is to reveal the history and heritage of the Tees Valley in compelling and distinctive ways to larger and more widely dispersed audiences. We will do this through working on access improvements, displays, exhibitions, events and special projects commissioned and delivered in a way that makes the whole greater than the sum of the parts.
ABOUT US:

Tees Valley Museums Consortium consists of the museum services of Stockton-on-Tees, Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland. It was formed in 2017 to develop collaborative working for the purpose of delivering better services to the public.

The five museum services of Tees Valley Museums Consortium hold extensive collections of art, archaeology, social, industrial and maritime history as well as a wide array of world cultures. We work together to promote pride in the history of the Tees Valley.

WHY OUR WORK MATTERS:

There are many amazing stories about Tees Valley. The five museum services across Tees Valley have come together to share our collections and your stories. We are committed to working together to maximise access to our collections for all.

OUR VALUES:
Our core values are cooperation, transparency and honesty within the partnership and with our audiences. The work we do is important to the communities we serve and they deserve work of the highest possible quality. We will strive to make our venues and our work accessible and underpin that ambition through agreed policies on inclusion, accessibility and equality.
