Lets Go Cycling CIC operate in partnership with Stockton Wheelers Cycling Club and British Cycling to deliver cycling sessions for people with a disability. The cycling sessions are available to SEND schools, adult support groups and general public.
People with a disability face a number of barriers every day, we aim to reduce the barriers to access sport and physical activity by providing cycling sessions for all ages and all abilities. The cycling sessions mean a great deal to those that take part, and often make life changing experiences.
The sessions provide opportunity to build on strength and fitness, enjoy independence, improve coordination and decision making skills and provide a positive impact on physical and mental wellbeing.
We look for people who are patient, polite and are passionate about helping people with a disability enjoy taking part in an activity that wouldn’t otherwise be possible.
We have access to one of the largest spaces for safe cycling along with a wide range of bikes for different needs. We have gained a large amount of experience and understanding and can find a solution to challenging situations.
