CONQUERING THE UNIMAGINABLE
Save The Woman is a small team, and have been handling several cases of children and parents of African, Asian and Minority Ethnic nationals, cases which includes NMC removal of Nigerian nurses from its register, Universities withdrawals of international students and termination of employments, and most importantly child protection and safeguarding matters. This has taken a lot of their time and energy, with little or no resources, and this has making it really challenging to stay on top of everything.- As an extension we are currently supporting the work in Teesside University to build and enrich students life through business development and entrepreneurial studies.- In November 2018, STW supported the launch of the African and African-Caribbean Network at Teesside University, we also organised a ‘Commonwealth for Africa’ Conference at Teesside University in March 2019.
Save The Woman’s voluntary services have restored hope and joy to many homes, and also helped UK Government save millions of pounds. We have directly empowered and impacted thousands more families through the Africentric parenting life skills development programme ( https://www.dnest.co.uk/news/7/africentric-parenting-skills).
