Teesside Hospice
Our vision is that we are there for everybody who needs us. We want to change the way our society and healthcare systems care for people with a terminal illness and ensure that local people get the very best care at the end of their life. Our mission is to complement other services by leading the development of new ways of working and delivering hospice care that meets the needs of those at the end of their life today and those in the future, whatever their needs might be.
ABOUT US:

From our beginnings in 1982 all the way through to 2022, we've continued to change lives across Teesside by supporting people and families who've been affected by terminal illness, whether it's end of life care, supporting people to live well alongside their illness, or through anticipatory and grief counselling.

We help indiviuals to make the most of every day, ensuring they receive the best possible care by creating experiences and memories that last a lifetime.

Everybody gets treated as an individual, whether it's physical, mental or emotional support they need from us. We support people to stay as independent as possible, for as long as possible.

WHY OUR WORK MATTERS:

We're bringing people together, from patients, family and friends to our clinical team, counsellors, staff, volunteers and our fundraisers. We make sure that everyone gets to live well until the very end.

We were founded by local people and will always be here for local people. We understand their lives, the community and culture so we are incredibly well placed to offer highly personalised levels of care.

OUR VALUES:
We are compassionate, Skilled, Trustworthy, Ethical, Accountable. We act with Integrity.
THINGS WE ARE PROUD OF:
Allowing individuals to be the best they can be and to live their best lives. Supporting individuals and their families to create precious memories.
