Our speakers will come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, each bringing their unique perspectives and insights to the stage.
Licensee Michaela Reaney was born and raised in Middlesbrough, the Plan UK statistics - which highlighted Middlesbrough and Hartlepool as the worst places in the UK to be born a girl- hit close to home.

We’re returning for the second instalment to The Crypt, Middlesbrough on Wednesday, 16th October 2024 plus a rehearsal day on Tuesday, 15th October. We’re on the lookout to recruit some fabulous individuals to be part of our delivery team. You can expect a busy but varied day consisting of registration duties, attendee liaison and speaker assistance. In return, you’ll get to experience some of the awesome talks from the sidelines, have a chance to network with the audience and speakers, a recommendation for your LI profile, and get your own branded TEDx t-shirt to keep. Food and refreshments also provided.
