Our scheme offers volunteers the opportunity to act as mentors to Year 12 and Year 13 students, providing academic support in subjects aligned with their degree or A-level qualifications. Whether it's through virtual meetings or on-site sessions, our mentors receive comprehensive training and access to resources provided by subject heads of departments. By tailoring schedules to fit around their studies, our volunteers can engage in fulfilling mentorship experiences while balancing their academic commitments.
Our work matters because it not only enhances the educational outcomes of students but also enriches the personal and professional development of our volunteers. By participating in our scheme, volunteers bolster their CVs, expand their networks, and refine essential skills such as leadership, communication, and coaching.
We seek individuals who are passionate about education, dedicated to making a difference, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Our ideal volunteers demonstrate empathy, adaptability, and a willingness to invest time and effort in supporting the academic success and personal growth of others.
